As part of the Holtkämper Dressage Days 2018 Tatiana Kosterina received from the hand of the national coach Monika Theodorescu the Golden Riding Badge. As a foreign rider she had already exceeded the conditions for receiving this award. She had already won 10 S-victories or placements up to fifth place in Grand Prix tests with her mare Diavolessa vA. Then even the placings in Dortmund and Aachen were added.

The head of the Holtkämper dressage days, Ulrich Hollmann-Raabe, had probably counted, because he came up with the idea, once to ask if Tatiana should not get the golden clasp, after all their successes. And indeed, the quorum had already been reached. The Federation National issued the certificate and sent the gold clips. Monika Theodorescu insisted on handing over the award to her father's pupil, who is now also her pupil.

Tatiana Kosterina was surprised, she had not expected this honor. The organizer had succeeded excellently to dress the small celebration in an amusing show act in a break on Sunday shortly before the Grand Prix Special: Uli Hollmann-Raabe, Tatiana Kosterina and the daughter Christiane rode on three cold-blooded stallions of the NRW state stud in Warendorf  a few show laps around the dressage area on the occasion of the 15-year anniversary of the Reitanalage Hollmann-Raabe and the 60th birthday of the host. And to the surprise of Tatiana, there was the small celebration.

First of all, the presentor Tine Janßen paid tribute to the dressage rider's athletic career in an entertaining and informative manner, from the successes as a teenager in the Russian homeland to the matured international Grand Prix rider resident in Bielefeld. Even the host insisted on giving his best rider in the house praiseworthy words of recognition. Finally, the surprise guest, Monica Theodorescu, presented the golden bracelets and delivered their congratulations. Also Tatianas former head of the riding club Passage in Nizhny Novgorod, Anatoly Balykin, was present and cordially congratulated. Tatiana thanked visibly impressed, also by the audience, and thanked explicitly their helpers and supporters.

At the end there was a remarkable lap of honor in which Uli Hollmann-Raabe drove the cold-blooded horse through the dressage area for a hot canter with a blowing mane, while Tatiana preferred the trot.
