With luck in the freestyle, with proficiency the seventh place

Geneva was not the pavement for Diavolessa. In the Grand Prix she moved dully and colorless. The long journey had obstructed her. She had recovered by the time. In the freestyle she was nervous, devoting her attention to ghosting beside the arena. The performance was marked by a dreaded dancer.

Dia looks very confident before the test while braiding.

On St Nicholas Day Tatiana went after the warming up with a good feeling in the Grand Prix. The mare was much calmer than in Lyon. The horse was loose on the hand and there was hardly any tension. And indeed, the exam started promising. Getting in and greeting formation worked good. The trot  followed calmly. But even at the traversals creeping in the first uncleanliness. A Fotoshoting irritated at the rein back. One step too much. In the Galopptour Dia lost more and more of tension and radiance, was tired and flat, so that although the figures like the flying changes well, but the lecture remained dull and powerless. In the final line Dia then prematurely ended the passage and went on too early in the piaffe. A clear mistake. All this was reflected in the rating: Disappointing 67.652 percent took the eleventh place. Eight couples were able to enter the freestyle. So all that remained was the Grand Prix Special? Tatiana was fortunate that some participants preferred the Grand Prix Special of the freestyle and so it was enough for the freestyle on Friday.

Genf03Have reached seventh place. Lucky.

The Grand Prix Freestyle was scheduled as a night event. Tatiana started as the first rider at 22:15. Even on Friday she had a good feeling while warming up. Diavolessa showed well what she can do. This impression was quickly corrected in the arena. At the entrance, when the music was already started, Dia in the first corner already shied so violently that Tatiana had to break off the riding in. Tatiana, with the help of a clever volte, succeeded in galloping the corner once more. The greeting had to be initiated more in the middle, because now the pair were behind the music. Thus, the distance for the following passage was not so perfect. Tatiana then managed to get back into the music tact and to reach the planned distances and ways. Dia, however, remained excited, messed up a series of transitions, looked especially in the upper right corner and kept shying away when it went in that direction. Then she stumbled even the flying changes of leg every stride. Through the riding skills Tatiana managed to finish the freestyle correctly. Again, the couple was lucky in misfortune. Another competitor had similar problems with her horse, so the seventh place jumped out at the end.

Airplanes on the runway beside. Dia remembers her flight to the US?

Now begins a longer winter break. Diavolessa has learned her Grand Prix lessons well and can call them up regularly. She has outstanding strengths: walk, Passage, also the strong trot and a well-known gathered gallop. Changes and pirouettes can be safely retrieved. A problem remains the head. The mare does not like halls, especially when there is hardly any room next to the arena. She then likes to get upset, looks for ghosts, shrinks or hides in herself. Dia needs more self-confidence and serenity, at the same time concentration and gathering. This is being worked on during the winter break. Quiet and contemplative Christmas come just right.
