From June, 22nd to the 24th, the stud farm Bonhomme had invited to the dressage festival on the impressively beautiful grounds in the Havelland, just outside Berlin. This year, Tatiana Kosterina came with Diavolessa. They participated in all the tests of the "Ride around the golden horse". Friday started with the Grand Prix de Dressage, followed on Saturday evening by the Grand Prix freestyle, just before the footballmatch of the German national football team against Sweden. And the highlight, the Grand Prix Special followed on Sunday.

What a great stud-area? Dia is impressed.

Bonhomme is always worth a trip. The newly built stud blends architecturally harmoniously into the sandy landscape on the Havel. Gentle hills and dams frame the squares, riding areas and paddocks and structure the terrain not only functional but also beneficial to the eye. A central, spacious building with a neoclassical riding hall, despite its size, blends unobtrusively into the landscape. At the arenas, various seating areas invite you to linger and watch. Especially when the sun came through, the whole charm of this successful horse home revealed itself.

Visibly pleased Dia had welcomed the trailer on Thursday and had risen purposefully. After a heavy arrival on Thursday, the box and the hotel could just be moved. The Friday morning was characterized by a quiet preparation: breakfast, tour of the site by the hand, walk over the area and explore the trails. And silence. Dia had settled in well and was a little dull in the afternoon in the Grand Prix. Although the lessons are consistent. Tatiana mastered the task flawlessly. In addition, there were again mainly new judges, who first had to get a picture of this couple. Nevertheless, get 70.5 percentage points, which brought third place.

The Grand Prix Freestyle on Saturday unfortunately was somewhat affected by the rain showers. Nevertheless, an interested audience had arrived at the square, that wet, but interested followed the test. Dia showed up better on Saturday, acting powerful and committed. However, the flying gallop changes did not work, not even in the spontaneously built-in repetition. Of course, the grades went down for this lesson. Overall, the very high grades were missing in the end and the judges were in the assessment disagree. On the one hand there were 73 percent for the technical performance and 77 for the artistic, on the other hand, a judge remained in the technical even under 70 percent, but could in the artistic field for 72 percent decide. Also in Bonhomme confirmed: Judges who have seen the couple before, give higher grades. With a total of 73.47 percent, Dia and Tatiana came in fourth, a second placement.

Even though it was difficult: always smiling friendly. You could not really be happy about the  third place in the Grand Prix Special.

On Sunday, the Grand Prix Special was on. How is Dia going to start on three days in three Grand Prix stages? Does she manage that conditionally, does she manage it psychologically? Dia gave a clear answer to these questions: no problem - neither conditional nor psychic. Already in the preparation we could see that the mare was very motivated to the task. She was very flexible, with a good drive and willingness to perform. In the quadrangle, the couple delivered one of his best performances. All lessons worked flawlessly. Many highlights were to be seen as the passages, of course, the strong walk inspired, the strong trot was immensely powerful recited from the back. The pirouettes worked excellently, the traversals were a real eye-catcher. Even Greetings got Dia, without exposing the right leg again. In the end, Tatiana Dia fell over her neck in exuberant joy. Great. Then came the result: 70,765 percent - ups. The amazement was great and we barely closed our mouths again. Too bad that this beautiful event had to end like this.
